Perimenopause:

A diverse set of symptoms and changes occur in a women’s body during the transition through perimenopause.

Most women experience irritability and painful heavy prolonged menses. This can be a difficult period in a woman’s life.

Dr. Ortman-Nabi and her experienced staff can help ease this transition period with treatments designed to help you cope with your change.

HPV (Human Papillomavirus):

All young women or teens who are sexually active need yearly testing by a gynecologist.

These not only include sexually transmitted diseases, but sexually transmitted viral diseases. Viral diseases include Human Papillomavirus or HPV and herpes virus. HPV is a virus that causes warts or cervical changes. HPV is present in close to 70% of sexually active women under 30 years of age.

This virus can cause cellular changes on the cervix, leading to cervical cancer or genital warts.

IN OFFICE PROCEDURES FOR HEAVY CLOTTY MENSTRAL PERIODS.

We know many family's have recently changed to high deductable / copay insurance plans. Some family's have lost jobs and are without insurance. We have made it possible for patients to have D & C';s and abaltions in our office to save them the cost of hospital charges as well as lab fees for preadmission testing that is required when performed in the hospital. If you suffer from heavy bleeding please call our office for a consultation.
